Safety Retainer Service Benefits - General Overview
1) Exceptional communication and teamwork with our Company Representatives, Owner, Employees and Contractor personnel. 2) Flexibility in work schedule. 3) Organization to ensure all documentation is relevant and verified in a timely manner. 4) Field presence to proactively identify potential concerns before there is an incident. Items such as housekeeping and controlled products handling, storage and use will be of utmost importance for this service as well as coaching Supervisors to be safety leaders. 5) Safety program management without the Safety Manager cost!Responsibilities of this position could include and are not limited to:
✔ Attendance at site safety meetings.
✔ Develop and maintain a morning toolbox safety meeting program with the Supervisors
discussing pertinent safety topics related to safety management
✔ Audit site safety documents for completeness, content and tracking. Develop where
required.
✔ Complete safety audits as directed and communicate the results.
✔ Serve as the Safety Advisor for our client's location.
✔ Assist in critical job pre-planning (i.e. high risk task)
✔ Assist in any incident investigation.
✔ If site emergency arises, attend the site at the first available opportunity.
✔ Safety Advisor will not be responsible for implementing any disciplinary actions but
rather communicate issues to the Client Representative for further action.
✔ Complete and submit a monthly progress report.
